Novice Ride - June 2nd - Plano Bicycle Association

Hello Novice Riders! Time for me to lead my 2nd ride with Novice this Saturday. Remember.. START TIME CHANGE TO 7:00AM. It will be a 17 mile ride at about a 12-13 mph average pace. If you are new to group riding, we will teach you the PBA rules! Please arrive early to Gulledge Elementary, to prepare yourself and be ready for the speech at 6:45, so we can leave promptly at 7:00. Helmets required. As always, this is a NO DROP ride.

It will be approaching 80 degrees when we take off and only getting hotter as the day progresses. Hopefully, the earlier start time will help to keep this to a minimum. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure that you have plenty of liquid and this would include some type of electrolyte drink (Gatorade, Powerade, etc.) We'll head off into a little bit of wind, but then get it to our backs for a good portion as well.
