This week's ride is 44 miles, no-drop, at a 16.0 average pace. Rolling tempo 18-19mph. We will split into two groups, both rolling at the SAME pace. Rest stop is at mile 26 as usual in Murphy.

It is recommended that you are a strong B Squared rider prior to trying Tweeners.
Tips: 1) To avoid BONKING, bring bite-sized nutrition and eat a morsel every 20 mins at a red light. Eat before you feel hungry. Something like fig newtons work well. You won't have time to choke down a whole energy bar or stinger waffle, so if you like those, cut them up into morsels. Take 1 sip of water with your morsel, it'll absorb quicker. 2) To avoid DEHYDRATION, take a sip of electrolytes every 10-15 mins and ration until you can refill at a rest stop. 2) To avoid CRAMPING, know your muscle limit and don't exceed it. If you strain yourself, a cramp will develop and you'll be dealing with it the rest of the ride. Instead, dial back the power and increase your pedaling efficiency. The key is to stay ahead of problems!
