Tweeners - August 11th - 07:00 Rolling Time @ NW corner of (Spring Creek/Coit) parking lot behind the shopping center.
Assuming it doesn't rain tonight/tomorrow morning and rides are not called off (check in the PBA Facebook page for updates), we will ride the standard route at a speed of ~16 mph with the two standard sprint zones. If we need to bypass the bridge over US-75 at Exchange, someone let me know ahead of time and we'll make necessary corrections to get back to Exchange. We will ride up Independence as opposed to Coit as the new pavement is very nice. We will turn West on Cross Bend to Mission Ridge to Spring Creek. Usual rest stop at Allen Heights and Bethany. Total ride distance will be about 40 miles.
Weather is slated to be 74 degrees at the start with a 0-10% chance of rain and 78-80 degrees close to the finish with a 30-60% chance of rain by 10/11am. Bring plenty of water. The winds are forecast from the S/SW at 9 mph. Please arrive by 0645 am so you don't miss the inspirational pre-ride briefing. We can obviously shorten the route, due to rain if we have to.
