PBA Ladies Ride – Rescheduled this week

Thursday, 19 April 2018

Sunset is 8PM.  Please bring working front and rear lights.

Please bring water.  Hot weather will be here soon – start thinking of hydration snacks, and cramp prevention with electrolytes.  When the heat hits us – water alone will not get us through the rides.

Forecast for Thursday:

Temperatures will be in the 60’s with moderate winds when we roll.  The winds will decrease – and it looks like we will have a really nice night to ride!

Time:  Arrive at 6PM, ready to roll by 6:15PM.

Location:  TriShop

                 6101 Windhaven Pkwy #100

                 Plano, TX 75093

(NE Corner of Windhaven and Communications Pkwy - we meet

on the west side of the building).

Distance:    21 miles (with one rest stop if needed)

NO DROP RIDE

Pace:     If we have enough riders we will break down into 2 groups.  If we do not have enough riders for 2 groups – expect to ride the Group B pace.

              Group A:  14-15 mph

              Group B:  13-14  mph

I would like to encourage everyone to register for the upcoming PBA Pantry Pedal.

Grab your family – grab some friends – get a team together!  This is not a typical road bike event – but it is a scavenger hunt designed to refill the Minnie’s Food Pantry with needed staples for the summer.  I’ve added a basket to my old mountain bike – just for events like this!
