DB2 for 07/31 @ 7 am

Duane Evans and Brent Stone will co-lead today's DB2 ride. Thanks for stepping up in my absense!

Route? I'll be sending a few routes to Brent and Duane to choose from, but they may just come up with one of there own. Something around 50 miles.

DBXL? Warren will not be leading a DBXL today. But he will take a group from the start on the regular DB2 route if the size of the group calls for it. Thank you Warren! If anyone wants to lead a DBXL, then post a route and work with Brent and Duane for the best break-off point. Probably at the start would be good.

DBLong? Check with Dave Tysver at the start. He usually makes a game-day decision.

Have a great ride! I'll be there Sunday with fresh legs. Chris

I am also up for a DB-Long if we have a ride leader and can start from the lot.Hopefully at least 70 miles? Any others interested in this ride?

Last week I volunteered to take some volunteer wackoes ... er, I mean stalwarts ... on a ride "with hills." Part of the idea here was to relieve some of the congestion on the regular DB2 ride. Well, a small group of us went and had a successful ride, so I'm going to volunteer the same thing again this week. Not many people realize that there is a 10,000 foot peak at the northern border of Plano, and then an 11,000 foot peak in McKinney. Makes for some real good training for hearty buckaroos, yesirree.

We're libel to have a very large group. I suggest we break into 2 groups at the parking lot. I'll volunteer to sweep one of them.
