Tweeners is a 2.5 hour developmental ride on a mostly fixed route of 35 to 40 miles. Average speed over the total distance is usually between 14.5 and 15.5 mph. Traveling speeds will range from 13 mph on hills to 18+ mph on the flats. The group warms up at a conversational pace for the first few miles to discuss and practice group riding etiquette. There are two convenience store rest stops and several "optional" surge or sprint zones with regrouping points. The ride starts and ends at NW corner of Spring Creek and Coit. Riders are expected to have read the PBA group riding rules (link below).

This is NOT A NO-DROP RIDE, so please have a riding partner, the map and a SAG plan in the event that you have over-estimated your ability.

Road bikes are highly recommended for this ride unless you are a very strong mountain bike or hybrid rider.

Refer to PBA Rules and Ride Preparation links below.
