Step-Up Ride for Saturday, June 29th -- start time is 7:00 AM.  Weather forecast has a very low chance of rain with temps in the mid 70s to high 80s for the morning hrs.  The winds will OK, for a change, 7 mph out of the SSE.  There is a low chance of rain, less than 15% chance.  Be advised that high humidity is again predicted at the start, so prepare for that by hydrating sufficiently before the ride as well as bringing electrolytes and water with you to take during the ride.  On early Saturday morning, if you see the weather is much different than now predicted, check the PBA group Facebook page and this website blog to see if there is any change in our plans.  I'll post any needed announcement by 5:30 AM.  If you don't see an announcement by 5:45 AM, then I'm headed to the start area and we'll call a go/no-go from there.  (As always, announcements for all developmental rides -- of which Step-Up is one -- put out by Ron Shome, the PBA Ride Coordinator, supersedes whatever I might be considering or posting, so look for anything from him as well).
The Step-Up Ride start area is at the Gulledge Elementary School (west side Preston Meadow just south of Legacy). Please sign-in 15 minutes prior to start (6:45 AM) for the pre-ride safety briefing so we'll be able to start as scheduled.    Please have checked and aired up your bike prior to the pre-ride briefing and remember helmet, water, and tire repair kit.   The Step-Up route is posted on the RidewithGPS PBA Club Route Library under the title "SU_31.3_AllenHeights_OakPtPark".
