There is a widely varying chance of rain, depending on where you look. As much as I'd like to go to Sachse, we'll do a rain route instead (but not one that passes the start in the middle--too tempting).
Here are the particulars:
- Daryn will lead the B group (17-18.5 mph DROP) and I will lead the C group (15.5-17 mph NO DROP).
- Since the C group is a no drop ride, as long as someone is in the posted range we will stick with them. Since today I rode DB Rec for the first time this year, yes, I am referring to me.
- One rest stop at around 29 miles at the Quik Trip on Park near Midway.
- Depart from the usual Bagels location at Legacy and Independence just north of Dunkin'.
- Separate sign in and briefing from the "other" Bagels ride. We normally do sign-in just south/SW of the regular Bagels group, but still north of Dunkin'. We'll have separate sign-in sheets for B and C but we'll continue to have one big happy briefing.
- Wheels down at 8:00 AM so be there ready to ride for sign in by 7:50.
- The route will be this one that includes a few small pieces of our "normal" route.
- Unlike me, please choose wisely.
- Be prepared to wait for the ride leader on top of most (or all) hills.
I'll see y'all in the morning!
