**UPDATE ** The more folks we have with the routes downloaded, the better. We have a few riders new to the PBA gravel ride, so if it appears we need to split for speed or distance, it will be easier. We’ll start on the 37 mile route, and if needed the 33 mile option can split at around mile 21, but we’ll play it by ear.

February Gravel Ride will be on very scenic, tree-lined roads between Farmersville and Greenville. We will not use the NETT trail beyond a few hundred feet, so MTBs are not necessary. We will meet Saturday 2/1 8.45am for 9am roll from Bland High School in Merit (6164 FM2194, Farmersville, TX 75442).

We'll have temps of 39F with light WNW winds at the start, but this route is fairly sheltered so we should be comfortable fairly quickly. There will be no option to refill water.

This is a NO DROP ride, with speeds averaging 12-14mph, with regroups at intersections. This effort approximates DB Rec or DB Lite pace.

There are two route options : a 37 mile which will be mud-free even if it rains on Friday; the 33 mile route has a short section that might be a little sticky if it rained in the last 48 hours.

Last time we rode here, several folks ate at the old fashioned burger place in Farmersville after the ride.
