Happy FriYAY Novice Riders!
Spring is showing off in North Texas with sunshine, temps in the mid‑50s, and a sassy little breeze (13–14 mph). Dress in layers so you’re ready for anything! If you warm up at mid‑ride, no worries, we can always pull over and peel off a layer or two😊. After all, that totally counts as a “mechanical,” right?
Even though it’s cooler, don’t slack on the hydration! Start sipping today (Friday) so you’re ready to roll on Saturday. 💧✨
🕗 Rollout at 8:00 AM, be at the parking lot by 7:45 AM for check-in and a quick pre-ride chat.
A few quick reminders:
- Please make sure you’re registered online for all PBA rides.
- Do your ABC check (Air, Brakes, Chain) before we roll out.
- New parking area at Gulledge — it’s right next to the old one, but only about 20 spots, so come a little early if you can. Overflow parking’s still available in the old lot.
This week’s route:
About 20 miles with a short break halfway through. We’ll keep our usual Novice pace (11–12 mph) and, as always, no one gets left behind! 🚴♂️ 🚴♂️ 🚴♂️ 🚴♂️ 🚴♂️ 🚴♂️ 🚴♂️ 🚴♂️
