Saturday DB Long

DB Long 4/19/2025 – DBLong Station 73

Linda and I will be the ride leaders for this Saturday’s DB Long ride. The forecast (as of this writing) for 8:00 AM in Plano calls for scattered thunderstorms, 55% chance of rain, 67 degrees and winds out of the SSE at 10 MPH. As you can see, it looks dicey for this Saturday. I will be keeping a close eye on the weather up to the day of the ride. We will be doing the “DBLong Station 73” route. We will be making our way SE to The Station near Sachse. This route has 3 rest stops and we will be taking advantage of the southeasterly winds starting at approximately mile 50.

Ride Average Speed: 17 - 18.5 mph

Distance: 73.4 miles

Rest Stops: Mile 19.8, 42.2 & 58.5

Time: 8:00 AM start, please arrive at 7:45 for check in and rider briefing
