We wanted to share some exciting. Element3 Health is now Grouper! (Yes, they know it’s a fish. Know what else it is? Amazing!)
As you may recall, they offer a Medicare Advantage and Supplement plan benefit for those 65 and older, to cover your membership dues. This name change also brings with it a couple changes for those that are part of the program. Going forward, they will now reimburse your dues for the year upfront by sending you a check in the mail.
Why did you change the name?
When we created the world’s first social fitness benefit we chose the name Element3 Health to reflect the fact that activities like hiking, biking, knitting and choral singing improve people’s physical, social and cognitive well-being – the three elements of health.
But the name didn’t do us justice. We’re not just healthy, we’re fun. Grouper is fun. It’s descriptive (we really do get you involved in groups). And so, the new brand name was born.
What hasn’t changed:
- Our mission, which is to encourage healthy living through activities that build meaningful social connections and shared experiences.
- Our dedication to our members, to nurture those connections – while letting Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement plans foot the bill.
What Does This Mean for You?
Starting now, members with an eligible health plan can enjoy all the benefits of Plano Bicycle Association membership without the cost. Whether you're a long-time club member or new to our community, this partnership ensures you can participate and make the most of your time enjoying various activities and spending quality moments with friends.
Is My Privacy Protected:
Your privacy is important to Grouper. Grouper makes sure that your personal information remains safe and confidential in accordance with federal and state laws. Club members may be asked for; name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and health insurance ID number. This information is only used to confirm eligibility for the Club Partnership Program. We do not sell or rent personal identification information to others.
