Weather forecast for Saturday looks "better" for our ride to
Chambersville. This 174 year old town was founded in 1847 and is now an unincorporated community. That's another way of saying not to expect a five star rest stop to be located anywhere near here. Which is okay, given that 7 miles farther down the road, we'll put up our feet
here for a little rest and recuperation...not to exceed 12 minutes, of course.
It could be that our numbers will be somewhat sparse...if so, we'll attempt to join forces with other like minded riders such as Fast 40. At this point, I'm hoping we leave at 9 AM when it's 35 degrees outside:
...after all, it was 36 when we left at 9 last week, and we suffered no casualties. Regardless, a final call will be made on this important detail sometime tomorrow evening. As for now, plan on an 8:45 AM check-in, a 9 AM departure, a 12:30 PM return, and a 1 PM nap.
