DB Century (Distance Builder 100) is a ride for those strong riders who would like to build distances for century rides. You should be comfortable riding a DB1 "effort" on this ride. Pace will depend upon elevation and conditions.

Distance: 100+ Miles

Pace: 18.5-19.5 MPH but will vary with elevation/conditions

Skill: Strong Intermediate - Advanced

DB Century (Distance Builder 100) is a ride for those strong riders who would like to build distances for century rides. DB Century ride leaders emphasize safety, fun, and helping everyone become the very best rider they can be. Please have a SAG plan!

Distance: 100+ Miles
Pace: Aprox 16 MPH
Skill: Strong Intermediate - Advanced
Ride type: Drop

Routes will vary and are at the ride leader’s discretion. Most routes will have shorter distance options, via route shortcuts. Riders should arrive at the start 15 minutes before departure time to for pre-ride housekeeping and also to introduce yourself to folks you do not know.

Start time: 7:00 AM (Please arrive 15 minutes early)

Start location: Parking Lot at Spring Creek and Coit

This ride is for you. This is a transitional ride above DB Lite and below the Fast Forty/DB1 Rides. This ride will average 17.5mph to 18.5mph.

Ask yourself the following: • Are you a natural born leader? • Do you like to tell people what to do? • Do you want to become an integral part of the PBA? We are always looking for Ride Leaders to lead our weekday and weekend rides, and we could use your help! Take the first step towards being a PBA Ride Leader by attending this informative class. You will learn leadership skills along with how to lead groups large and small, how to manage an accident scene, and how to get everyone home safely. If leading is not your cup of tea, but you still want to help – consider coming to class and being a qualified sweeper.
