The Advanced Riding Skills course is a 3-hour practical, on-bike training course designed to help you improve riding skills, learn safety techniques and gain advanced bike handling.

IN THIS COURSE:

Learn techniques to avoid obstacles on the road, including how to get out of cracks
Gain techniques for preventing falls from overlapped wheels
Improve your ability to turn corners
Learn how to stabilize yourself should a rider fall on you
Plus a variety of advanced skills to assist in keeping you upright whether riding solo or in group

This course is FREE to all PBA members. The course is limited to 20 participants. You will need a bike, helmet, water, etc. to participate in this course. Questions, please email: rslmn13@yahoo.com

DB Century (Distance Builder 100) is a ride for those strong riders who would like to build distances for century rides. You should be comfortable riding a DB2 pace on this ride. DB Century ride leaders emphasize safety, fun, and helping everyone become the very best rider they can be.

Distance: 100+ Miles
Pace: 17-18.5 MPH
Skill: Strong Intermediate - Advanced
Ride type: Drop

Routes will vary and are at the ride leader’s discretion. Most routes will have shorter distance options, via route shortcuts. Riders must be familiar with and practice safe pace line basics. All riders are encouraged to participate in the pace line.

Riders should arrive at the start 15 minutes before departure time to for pre-ride housekeeping and also to introduce yourself to folks you do not know.
